What a smart aparthotel is
A whole building with hotel services and the autonomy of an apartment.
The guest has a kitchen, a living room and a washing machine, together with self-access with no front desk, assistance throughout the stay and a building run by a single house. The technology is not decoration: it is what makes hotel service possible without a hotel's structure.
Equipment planned in each unit: code access, monitored climate control and utilities, connectivity fit for working.
Vertical integration
One house across all three stages
The same team buys the building, runs the refurbishment and operates it afterwards. Construction decisions are taken knowing what they will cost to operate over the following ten years, and not the other way round.
Hotel standard
Operation rests on the standard of an upper-tier operator: written procedures, staff training and verification of every unit before the guest arrives.
